Meghan & Austin
Meghan Joy Rozier is a senior analyst and Austin Michael Rice is a supply chain director. They met at a mutual friend’s wedding reception. Their close friends noticed a connection and set them up. Meghan and Austin started dating in March 2018.
The Engagement
Meghan and Austin have a Christmas time tradition they share. They go to the River Oaks area and stroll the community to see the beautiful lights. The night of the proposal, Austin and Meghan drove to Austin’s hometown, The Woodlands, to enjoy Christmas lights with family and keep the tradition alive.
They walked and enjoyed the beautiful display of lights on the houses. Meghan stopped to take a photo. Austin seized the moment and dropped down on one knee and said “will you Marry me?” Meghan cried joyful tears as she said “YES!” while his sister took pictures. To Meghan’s surprise, her mom and extended family, and close friends came out from hiding behind the cars across the street. They celebrated with family and friends with a bottle of champaign creating a magical memory for Meghan that she will never forget.
The Rehearsal Dinner
The rehearsal dinner festivities were at Landry’s in The Woodlands. Cocktail hour and a delicious meal set the tone for a great wedding weekend. After dinner, they went to the patio and rehearsed.

The wedding ceremony happened on November 4, 2022 at Iron Manor in Montgomery, Texas. Meghan and Austin knew what styles and themes they both wanted for their special day and knew they had a large family to accommodate. They chose this venue based on several factors but mostly because they fell in love with this one-of-a-kind venue that is straight out of a storybook. The ceremony took place before a wall of ornately arched windows in the Iron Chapel. Guests then moved to the outdoor garden for cocktails and appetizers. The reception followed in Crane Hall.

Their three-tiered cake was whimsical with two round tiers and one square. As an homage to her new last name, rice crispy treats were placed at every seat. A gold and emerald theme was carried throughout the event. One of the many wonderful things about Meghan’s and Austin’s wedding ceremony is that it was officiated by Meghan’s Godfather! After an elaborate meal, the dance floor was full of family and friends – dancing the night away.

Meghan used the Bridal Extravaganza to help plan her big day
Having been someone that volunteered at the Bridal Show for years it was such a treat to attend as a bride. I even won our photo-booth! It’s such an amazing show when you are feeling overwhelmed to see all different vendors and get so much planning and conversations with vendors knocked out!
