Hello again Swifties! The big day has come and gone and Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are officially married! We are so happy for them, and it seems like their wedding day was filled with love, joy, excitement for this new chapter as newlyweds. There were several predictions on what the wedding would be like from the location to the decor to the wedding planner! We made our own predictions, and now let’s see what Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding actually looked like!
Date & Location
Well this one was spot on! T&T tied the knot on Saturday July 3rd at Madison Square Garden! The streets we blocked off and from 5pm to 4am Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were celebrating their wedding day! The actual date of the nuptials was certainly a topic of debate. There had been one wedding date prediction that turned out to be false, so everyone was waiting to see if this one would be the real date or if it too would turn out to be false! There was also some small debate online if this was actually going to be the case for the couple with some sources scoffing at the idea of having a wedding at MSG. There was even some light speculation over at the Bridal Extravaganza office on if MSG was a decoy venue! Any and all doubt however was laid to rest as the celebration commenced on July 3rd! That being said, while they did get publicly married on the 3rd, the couple did legally marry in private prior to the day.

Decor
The predictions for this one also seemed to be right on the money, along with some extra ideas we did not see coming! In the days leading up to the wedding people could spot decor entering MSG. One such piece of decor was labeled “garden party”. There was also a lot of draping as can be seen in some of the photos of the venue. The colors seem to be soft pinks, green, gold, and a bit of red! There were green and gold chairs seen being carried into the venue along with other pieces for large decor. There was also foliage seen being brought in, and the aesthetic was apparently “secret garden”. As of right now we have not seen the entirety of the wedding space, but we will be sure to update when we do get a glimpse! One of the decorations we did not anticipate was the napkins. In an instagram post by Maren Morris we see the napkins that were used at the wedding, but these were not normal napkins, they were embroidered! They had lace around the edges, the couple’s initials combined together with intricate sewing detail, the date of the wedding, New York City, and the line “So it’s gonna be forever…” from Taylor Swift’s song Blank Space which is supposedly Travis Kelce’s favorite of her songs! Additionally, there was also a 70s muscle car present at the venue! The car was a red Chevrolet Chevelle SS with white stripes and a custom license plate. It wasn’t just sitting there for no reason, as it held a special message. On the license plate it read “JST&T MRD”, and is apparently a nod to the couple’s first date!

Planner
This one has also been confirmed! It was speculated that celebrity planner Mark Seed was the chosen planner for T&T’s wedding, and it has been confirmed to be true! Seed has not made any comment on Swift and Kelce’s wedding even after it ended, but that is the type of discretion the couple was looking for when it came to their big day! Mark Seed is known to take the privacy of his clients very seriously, and he did so throughout the process of T&T’s wedding! Not only that, but from what we can tell, Seed managed to plan a truly stunning wedding day. It just goes to show you how important it is to have a wedding planner you can depend on!
Guests
As stated in the pre-wedding blog post, T&T’s wedding had over 1,000 guests! Alongside the family of both Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce some of the guests included people like George Kittle, Ayna Taylor-Joy, Selena Gomez & Benny Blanco, Jimmy Fallon, Ice Spice, Camila Cabello, Gigi Hadid, Maren Morris, and more! Adam Sandler also attended the wedding, but he was not just any guest! The actor went from playing the role of a wedding singer in a movie to being Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding officiant in real life! While Sandler officiated, other guests filled the role of wedding singers! Paul McCartney, Stevie Nicks, and Fergie all sang for the wedding guests, and the bride herself even got on stage as well! The rule for guests to not bring gifts still stood, but that did not mean that T&T could not give gifts to their guests! Each guest was given a black box with Swift and Kelce’s initials engraved on them, and inside each of them were reportedly diamond encrusted champagne flutes!

Dress
There were several names in the ring when it came to speculating who designed Taylor Swift’s dress, but the designer has finally been revealed! In the end Taylor Swift went with a Christian Dior Haute Couture gown, and Travis Kelce also wore a Dior suit! Both Taylor and Travis’s outfits were designed by the newly appointed creative director Jonathan Anderson. According to some of the guests at the wedding, Swift’s dress was “fluffy and white”, and was off the shoulder with a lace veil that one guest reported was about 25 feet long! The veil was described as “pure romantic perfection”, and reportedly after the ceremony Swift changed into a more comfortable gown for the reception. Aside from the dress Taylor Swift also wore custom shoes by Christian Louboutin along with jewelry by Cartier. As for Kelce, guests reported he wore a white suit that he paired with a white top hat. We have yet to see any photos of the dress or suit, but once we do, we will be sure to keep you updated!

Security
Like many celebrities, T&T wanted top notch security for their big day. The first security measure started with the invitations! Swift and Kelce wanted to minimize the possibility of leaks, so along with guests signing NDAs, the invitations that were sent out had unique watermarks on each of them. That way if a guest leaked the listed details by sharing a photo of the invites then T&T would know who did it! The next security measure was in relation to how the guests arrived. Obviously, the privacy and safety of the guests when arriving at the wedding was important so they were escorted in from their vehicles through tents, and into the venue. The third security measure doubled as part of the decor! MSG was filled with draping to transform the space from a basketball court to a beautiful wedding venue, and the draping also helped to cover the windows! With the windows covered, prying eyes could not catch a glimpse into the wedding, which was perfect for privacy! Lastly, T&T hired security. This is common even for non celebrity weddings, but Swift and Kelce made sure to go above and beyond with it. There were over 130 police working security in 8.5 hour shifts for the wedding. This was to ensure the privacy and safety of the couple and guests from any potential part crashers. All and all T&T had a very secure wedding day!

Honeymoon
T&T have tied the knot, and the next step is their honeymoon! While they have yet to ride off into the sunset to begin their honeymoon, we do have an idea of where they plan on going! It was previously reported that the couple would spend their honeymoon going to different locations around the world such as Italy, the Bahamas, Croatia, Greece, and many more locations! While the couple has not confirmed these spots as their definitive destinations, it is clear that once they set off they will be having a lovely getaway to kick off this new chapter as newlyweds!

We are so happy for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, and we cannot wait to see the other details of their big day as they are revealed!
