“It’s a Love Story”: the bridal industry in Houston plans a Taylor Swift – Travis Kelce wedding
Not since the royal weddings has the bridal business been so electrified.
The Bridal Extravaganza asked vendors to come up with their dream wedding for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
“This wedding is the closest we have come to a royal wedding — music royalty marries NFL royalty,” explains Laurette Veres.
“Let’s be honest — we’ve watched Taylor Swift grow up before our eyes — starting with that sweet teenager who wrote songs like ‘Love Story’ and “You Belong with Me’. She’s dated a lot of A-list stars, but this one is special. It’s a new ERA for Taylor.”
Cakes
Nadine Moon with “Who Made the Cake!” has come up with both a wedding cake and groom’s cake.
Moon calls the wedding cake “A Love Story Written in the Stars”.
Flavor: a delicious Chai Spice Cake modeled after her favorite cookies with a rich Old Fashioned Vanilla Buttercream covered in a lustrous White Chocolate Fondant.
Design: 6 Ombre tiers covered in “Midnight” blue to white tones with an ethereal flowing milky way like sugar design flowing up the floating tiers of the cake, with airy translucent flowers reminiscent of her favorite flowers (orchids & hydrangea), touches of glimmering silver celestial accents climb up the cake complete with the couples Sagittarius & Libra constellations reflecting a love story written in the stars & their combined double T monogram, crowned with a Taylor & Travis bride & groom topper.

Destinee Milton Wildbloom Florist is working on the floral arrangements:
“The couple’s floral arrangement will be the star of the show at Tay & Trav’s wedding. Taylor’s favorite flowers are hydrangeas and orchids. So these two blooms are a must in her bouquet. We will also be featuring high end blooms in her two favorite colors, purple and white. Just like Travis’ sense of fashion, the bridal bouquet will be luxurious and fashionable with a modern garden aesthetic. Although Travis may be a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, he is no stranger to making a statement with his sauve and glam fashion sense. We will also be adding a hint of glam and sparkle into the bridal bouquet inspired by his love of fashion.”
